A ground water contractor may be involved in the drilling of water wells, environmental monitoring wells and incidental soil core sampling. Approximately 800,000 boreholes are drilled in the U.S. annually. The construction of these systems involves the use of more than 19,000 drilling rigs by an estimated 8,000 ground water contracting firms. Construction Insurance Solutions (CIS) is a program designed for a variety of residential and commercial artisan-type contractors, operating in states noted for Construction Defect litigation. Underwritten by a national Non-admitted XV+ carrier, the program lead lines are General Liability and Excess Liability, with property and auto also available. Program features include open distribution and availability in selected states.
