CompLex provides legal expense coverage for exposures not covered by Workers Compensation insurance. These exposures include:
- Workers Compensation retaliation claims - where an employee is alleged to have been retaliated or discriminated due to the filing of a Workers Compensation cliam made before the Workers Compensation claim made before the Workers Compensation Appeals Board.
- Serious & Willful Misconduct - any intentional act, or failure to act, coupled with the knowledge that serious injury will be the probable result from that act or failure to act.
