At Financial Success Training for Brokers, we teach business and financial acumen. Our work is based on two primary assumptions.

  2. Second, that having this ability and knowledge is essential to developing human capital and building bench strength at every company and creating maximum success for every broker.

 We partner with our clients to provide customized, cutting edge financial training in order to improve communication, decision-making, and performance at every level of the organization.

We think that although most brokerage firms have clear strategic objectives and metrics, they have not been able to make financial concepts, tools and skills simple, engaging, and meaningful enough to get people to learn them and change their behavior. We have spent a career discovering the most effective ways to do that.
Financial Success Training for Brokers (FSTFB) works because it is a process, not an event. Over the past 13 years, the Financial Success Training team has delivered initiatives at every kind and size of company. Every successful Financial Success Training for Brokers has the same six steps.
For the online version of FSTFB, the six steps provide the mandate, motivation, formal learning and follow through needed for success and a great ROI.

The six, individual steps in our program work in synergy to create successful learning, permanent retention and practical, measurable results. The steps are:
  1. Pre-learning set up fires up the participants "learning neurons" to create personal meaning, permanent retention and high engagement for participants. FSTFB includes enrollment in a 6-week, once a week, email helper program and an "I agree to" statement of commitment by each participant
  2. Pre-assessment sets a financial literacy baseline for each learner and helps make the initiative more meaningful
  3. Real life experience. Every participant uses a Program Participant Guide to apply their learning to a practice client's financial numbers, measures and concerns
  4. Accelerated program learning and a bias for Action. The formal learning at the core of FSTFB is an elegant example of self-paced, self-directed e-learning with a focus on practical action.
  5. Live Mentoring: As a safety net, each program participant joins a live mentoring group with 6 participants - either an internal group at their company or a private group conducted by one of our company's experts
  6. Follow through. To make sure FSTFB isn't a "flavor of the month," every program participant receives a custom-designed Broker's Analyzer. The Analyzer allows a broker to evaluate the:
  • Likelihood that their customers will achieve coverage
  • Potential magnitude of that coverage
  • Financial strengths and weaknesses of the customer
  • Changes the customer needs to make to get the coverage they need
