A charter operation is commercial use of an aircraft carrying passengers and/or cargo for hire. Charter aircraft could consist of anything from a single-engine piston aircraft to a commercial sized multiengine jet. Operating as a charter air carrier also requires a greater degree of care and operational guidelines. Therefore, we recommend you work with an aviation insurance expert.
