Why Choose American Specialty for Your Fairs Clients?

As a Managing General Underwriter with a long-standing reputation in the event and entertainment spaces, American Specialty offers a deep understanding of the unique exposures associated with fairs and similar events. Our in-house team handles underwriting, claims, risk management, and policy administration, giving agents a streamlined experience from submission to resolution. With program-specific forms and rating, we provide solutions that are designed—not adapted—for this class of business.

You might have a client organizing a multi-day agricultural exhibition that includes livestock competitions, carnival rides, and food vendors. Or perhaps a regional trade show that includes indoor exhibits and live entertainment. These types of operations are exactly the risks we’re built to handle.

Policies are available on an admitted basis across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Minimum premiums vary depending on the size and scope of the event. Whether you're placing a one-time fair or looking for annual coverage for recurring events, we can help you find the right fit.

AGENCY LICENSING

Licensing
Each state’s regulatory department requires licensing for any broker soliciting coverage within that state. Failure to maintain proper licensing status can result in penalties not only to the broker, but also to the insurer. Therefore, in addition to the completed Broker Agreement, we require that you provide the following:

1.      A copy of your resident license and, if applicable, non-resident licenses for each state in which you have an account insured with our program.

2.      A copy of your agency’s corporate license issued by your state's Department of Insurance.
