Long Term Disability coverage provides monthly benefits for an extended period of time.
Provides a long-term source of income if the insured can’t work due to a covered sickness or injury. Benefit amounts can be chosen in $100 units from $400 to $6000 or 60% of earnings, whichever is less. Rates are age banded and are the same for both males and females. Maternity is covered the same as any other illness and the plan also offers Partial Disability benefits, Waiver of Premium and Recurrent Disability benefits.
